About Us
The story behind our seal.
Every NEDAC membership card carries this seal. Here's what each part of it means.

The seal splits down the middle: Pakistan’s green on one side, Canada’s red on the other — two countries, one alumni community. A gold engineering-gear ring carries the association’s name, and at the center sits NED University’s own seal, unchanged, so the institution that shaped every member stays at the heart of the one that connects them.
Crescent & star
Pakistan's national emblem, set in the green half of the seal — honoring where NED University, and the association's roots, began.
Maple leaf
Canada's national emblem, set in the red half — the country our members have built their careers and families in since graduating.
Gear-toothed ring
A nod to engineering itself — the discipline every NEDian shares, regardless of graduating year or specialization.
"NED Alumni Canada"
Arced across the gold parchment ring, the same way a university seal carries its institution's name.
NED University's own seal
At the very center, carried over intact: the university's name, its Arabic motto, and its founding home.
Sunrise over water
Part of NED University's original seal, evoking Karachi's coastline — the city the university, and this association's story, calls home.
